new build list- reviews and comments

Hi everyone,

This is my list of parts. I took most of it for Jeff 1125's post last week. I would like to add a HDTV card to grab video from the air. I don't know what to use. We have a xbox connected to our main TV and will send feed to it. I want to get my USB connection up on my desk. What should I use? I have an old keyboard, mouse, monitor and speakers that could be tossed in the excitement of the build. If you have case you like more, I would like to know. Thanks

To get the USB up to the desk, buy an AC powered USB hub.

No, but wouldn't you need a video card with a HDMI output to watch HD? Also, the Xbox doesn't have HDMI - yet.

Hauppauge has other models that may have options you want.
