Is this compatible?

this is wat i have now + an antec 500w psu
Corsair TWINX 1024MB PC5400 DDR2 667MHz (2X512)
Intel Core2 Duo E6600 2.4Ghz Socket 775
BFG GeForce 7900 GS 256MB PCIe
Seagate 320GB EIDE HD 7200/16MB/ATA-100

i just wanted know if this motherboard is compatible with everything

Yes. NOTE that it only has 1 IDE channel though.

yea i just noticed tat, how do i get my dvd-drive and harddrive connected to the mobo if there's only 1 ide?

An IDE channel can run 2 devices. Jumper them both CS, use the 80 wire cable, put the DVD in the middle and the HDD on the end.

sry i dont know what u mean by cs? (first time building a comp)

so just put them on the same ata cable right, in the order u mentioned?

CS is short for "Cable Select". It means the relationship of the drives (master/slave) will be determined by their positions on the cable. In this case, the hard drive will be master since it is the first, and the DVD is a slave since its in the middle.

Your drives will have a diagram printed on them to show where to put the jumper for CS. Jumpers are just little plastic caps to short some pins on the back of the drives. You'll see it.

ok so i called tigerdirect b/c i didnt know what they meant by crediting it to me

i tot it meant i was credited for tat amount on their website only, but they said the money's credited back to my card

so i can prolly go get some thing from newegg now instead of tigerdirect.

any suggestions? (price should be around 140-50)
