Video Card Problem

Hi, I just completed my first Build.

ASUS P5B delux MB
Intel Core 2 Processor
600wat PB
Radeon 9800 Pro All in One Video Card

Machine powers up no problem.
Fans engage perfectly.

Only problem My monitor does not come on at all.

The Videocard fan does not come on.
I placed it back in my old dell & it works fine there.

There does not appear to be a power cord for my card on this new board.

Does anyone know of a solution to my problem.

Thanks in advance folks.

The problem is the video card itself - it is an AGP card, which is old technology. What we are working with here with that motherboard is PCI-Express x16 technology. You need to replace that video card with something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130017 AGP and PCI-E cards are physically different on the conductor side.

How did you even get that card into that board?

Board had a little extra space near the rear of the case, slotted right in.

Weird I know.
