Help, First Start-up...

I built my PC, and all the fans and everything are hooked up and in the case. It was time for the moment of truth. I hit the power button, and it didn't work on the outside so I used the one directly on the motherboard (first problem). Then, when it started up, all the fans started spinning, but the monitor got no signal. Note: there was no beeping, but all the lights came on on the motherboard and every fan came on.

help!

Please provide us with some detailed specs, including brand & Model of your power supply.

No video and no beeps means the system isn't posting. Follow the steps in this thread to rule out a LOT of variables:

Thanks for the detailed parts list. I'd definitely suggest building the system out of the case as detailed in the thread I linked to. It's the only way to see if the system is shorting out to the case chassis, or determine a faulty component.

Try starting the system with one stick of RAM at a time - one may be faulty and stopping the boot process. Double and Triple check EVERY component and power connector is seated properly.

If you still get nothing, make sure a speaker is connected, and try booting the system without the RAM or the Video card installed. The system should beep in error - if it doesn't, I'd lean towards a faulty motherboard.

Another note - I notice from Newegg's picture of your board that there are Diagnostic LEDs on the board towards the bottom right. Do they light up with a code you can reference with the manual?

Sry, I should have added that earlier. The diagnostic LEDS come up as dashes (- symbol) which is not in the manual. Will go try speaker beep thing now.

Tried it with no RAM, or graphics = no sound. Could it be my processor or is it for sure the mobo?

There really is no 'for sure' in this situation. The only way to test properly is by substitution for known-working parts, but that is rarely easy with a new, pricey system.

I'd be tempted to suggest a DOA motherboard, given what you've told us. My final test would be to test the system with a known-working power supply (or test that power supply in a known-working system) just to rule it out as the cause. It's a high quality unit, but you never know till you test.
