Low Vcore on New Build - is this a problem?
Just completed my first build, thanks to all the great help on this forum.
System is: Motherboard: ASUS P5B Deluxe Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz 4M shared L2 Cache Ram: CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Video Card: ATI 100-437807 Radeon X1950PRO 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 Hard Drive: Western Digital 500GB Monitor: ASUS VW192T Black 19" 5ms DVI Widescreen LCD Case: Antec Performance One P180 Power Supply: OCZ GAMEXSTRREAM 600W OS: Microsoft Windows XP Home Sp2b Both PC Probe II and CPU-Z show my Vcore voltage as fluctuating between as low as 1.13 and 1.29, generally staying at about 1.17. Is this anything to worry about? Thanks. |

Its normal. Your motherboard also slows the cpu down when its not in use.
