Component advice pls!

Hi,

Im about to embark on my first custom build and am looking for some advice on what components to go for. I'm in the multimedia industry and will be using the PC mainly for media based applications ie. film editing, web design and audio production. I will also be using to view my vast collection of Div X movie/TV files. I'm not a gamer.

I will need all of the basics inc:

Mother Board and Processer (My friend has advised a Shuttle?)
RAM
DVD/CD Drive
Graphics card
Hard Drive

I have £750 to spend on the build and would like to get the best bang for my buck!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Shuttle systems are generally for gamers that take their systems to LAN parties.

for your needs:
Mother board: Asus P5B
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600/can drop to a E6300 if budget runs tight
Ram: Corsair Value Select DDR2 667 in a 2gig kit
HD: Seagate 7200.10; size of your choice
Graphics: ATI X1300 series
Case: what ever looks good or Antec Sonota II w/PSU
DVD: Lite-On
