other computers can't find my IP address

I have formated my hard drive and installed XP. My PC works great. When I try to network with the other PCs in my house they can not find my IP address. I have a XBOX that also can not find my computer. I have the house setup with a wireless network. I can find them but they can not see me. Do you know whats up? Thanks

Did you run the network setup wizard after you reinstalled XP? If not, it might do the trick.

What are you using for a firewall on it? If it's the builtin XP firewall, is file and print sharing enabled in the exception list and is SP2 installed?

Make Sure It Is Set To Zero Wireless Config. Also Try Moving Your Router Around To Get The Most Direct Line Of Sight For Your Wireless Adapter. Moving It Just One Inch Can Make A Big Difference. Having Grounded Devices Between Your Router And Adapter Will Bring Your Signal Way Down. I Am Running Wireless Also. If Your Adapter Card Has A Little Antenna On It Remove It And Purchase A D-link In House Antenna And Connect It. That Will Really Boost Your Signal.
