When I power up my new build, I get no video, no beeps from MB. All lights and fans Powered up.
Here is the relevant hardware: MB Intel BLKD975XBX2KR CPU Intel E6600 Kingston (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model KVR667D2N5K2/2G Power Supply CoolerMaster 450W RS-450-ACL Video Card: EVGA 7950GT I tried the advice on just powering up these basics on the bench on a box- no difference, so I can rule out the mounting of the board. I have also checked, removed and reseated the CPU, Video Card and Memory with no change to the problem. I think I have bad hardware after trying this and reading the other posts, but I am not sure what specific item would be bad that I should replace. |

Check that the main ATX and Aux power plug from the PSU are plugged into the motherboard. Also, that the video card has it's power connections from the PSU.

I did miss one of the Power Supply Cables to the MB. I will hook it all up again and see what happens and re-post the results. Thanks.

That board has an 8 pinCPU power plug up by the I/O connecters. If you bought an OEM board (no extra cables) then you may be short a power connection if the PSU doesn't have the 8 pin connector. The molex connector is for use with video card(s) that may not have seperate power connections.
