P5B and E6300
A couple of quick questions for when my board gets here Monday.
1. With this board and CPU combo, should I update the bios before are after the OS install. 2. If I am using all SATA HDD and Optical drives, do I need to install the JMicron drivers (IDE ??) with the board drivers or can I leave them off. Thanks |

Dont mess with bios updating unless theres some specific feature that you need in a new bios release. If its working fine, dont mess with it. Most new P5B's already ship with recent bioses.
Nope, pop that xp disc in and go from there.

1 - No: Do not upgrade BIOS unless you cannot move without it.
2 - No: Get everything you need set up first, then move on installing extra drivers if needed. kram
