Are you looking for recommendations or have you already bought it? What kind of comments are you looking for?

We'll..its kinda a bit late when you have already bought the parts, ruins the purpose.

But I wouldve done a few things differently:

-Corsair Valueselect ram instead, kingston is just not as consistent
-All around core 2 Duo setup for best performance
-ATI chipsets with AM2 are a bad idea
-A 7600GT card instead. The X1650PRO isnt the best gamers card for the price.
-A Seagate or WesternDigital drive. Maxtors are notorious for unreliability nowadays.

And finally, a lite-on drive.

Just a minor criticism: XP Media Center Edition is useless... to me it's just more useless settings. Home Edition does me happily. Also that Samsung DVD-RW could be dodgy.

I very much agree with both things you've said. Lite-On drives have a high reputation. Microsoft Windows XP M.C.E. can be useful, however from what I've heard from close colleagues, it can be unstable despite it's basic backbone of Windows XP Professional.

That AM2 will do very well for you. The 1650 ATI will play games well, it might not handle full shadows too well but it should be fine. Kingston is awesome Memory, that was great choice.
LG and Samsung are not too good IMO when it comes to Optical but you might get lucky and have no issues with them.
Maxtor is now owned by Seagate and their quality have improved drasticaly since the merger so you basicaly have a Seagate HD with Maxtor sticker on it.
This looks like a good set up. Congratiolations.
