Ready to buy; last check

Hi, I've posted before and changed specs around and hope I now have a winner. I'm replacing a Dell and want #1 to build and #2 to get better components than I understand gets put in prebuilts. Not OC'ing but want a fast ride for typical stuff I'd throw at it: TiVo transfers, Photoshop, games, entry-level video editing, etc.

Case: Antec LifeStyle SONATA II Piano Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 450Watt SmartPower 2.0 Power Supply
MoBoard: ASUS P5B LGA 775 Intel P965 Express ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 Conroe 1.86GHz LGA 775 Processor Model BX80557E6300 - Retail
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3250820AS 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM
RAM: CORSAIR ValueSelect 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Desktop Memory Model VS2GBKIT667D2 - Retail
Optical: LITE-ON 16X DVD±R DVD Burner with 12X DVD-RAM Write and Replaceable White Front Panel Black SATA Model SH-16A7S-06 - Retail
Sound Card: (motherboard)
Video Card: BFG Tech BFGR76256GTOCE GeForce 7600GT 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card - Retail
Monitor: SAMSUNG 941BW Black 19" 4 ms (GTG) DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor - Retail
Speakers: ALTEC LANSING 121i 20 Watts Total Continuous Power 2.1 Speaker - Retail

I've got the rest. I'm most concerned about the included 400w PSU in the Antec case being quality/enough. Also if everything is compatible/stable if I build it right.

Thanks for your comments.

It all looks great other than the Samsung LCD monitor. I have had nothing but problems with Samsung products and their RMA and customer service is the pits. That is my experience.
Acer makes good monitors so does Viewsonic and their RMA service is much better than Samsung.
BFG is a great choice because they give you a lifetime warranty. I have a 5200 Ultra made by BFG in one of my old machines that is almost 5 years old, it is OCd and still rocks, never had a problem with it.

You must be one of the unlucky ones - Samsung monitors are generally regarded as being a top choice. However, I agree that their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I *have* had a lot of issues with their hard drives and optical drives though. The only reason I don't buy Samsung monitors is price. I usually get Acer or BenQ.

Yup, all monitors in this household are Acers and they're doing very well. Apparently there's a new player in the market called Mirai and they sell uber-cheap while still being relatively high-quality. I did my research...

Its fine for the videocard you have chosen. Everything else looks fine.

Regarding the Samsung, I've had luck too. I'm at a great looking 21" 215TW at work that I didn't spend a whole lot on and so thought a little sibling to it would be OK for the task.

Thanks for everyone's comments.

glc I never owned a Samsung monitor, I had problems with Memory, Optical Drives and Hard Drives made by Samsung. Their customer support literaly blows.
Even if their monitors are top notch I would not buy them because they have such bad customer support.

You have to understand that the quality of one devision of a cowpony will not give you an idea of what another devision is like. Most of the time the development teams are completely different, and really the only thing they have in common is the brand name. Just like I'm not the biggest fan of some of the LG TVs, but LG cell phones have been serving me well for years.

It is the general experience with a compnay. Its how you get treated when you call or email them. After 5 or so components and horrible service, I don't care if they made the best monitors in the Universe I won't be dealing with them again.
