RAM installation

Might be a dumb question, but when installing the RAM I'm not sure whether to put my 2 1GB sticks both into the Channel A (A1 and A2) or to put one in slot A1 and the other in slot B1. I tried to search for the answer to this to no avail, read the ASUS mobo manual, and it didn't seem to help much except saying you are able to do it either way, suggestions?
