Hello! I just built a computer, but for some reason it wont turn on. When I press the power button, nothing happens.
At first I had the ASUS P5NSLI, which would not turn on either. I noticed LED on the mobo was on, so the mobo must have been getting power. Then, I bought the MSI P965 NEO. Same problem, I pressed the power button and nothing happened. I have a Core 2 Duo E4300, 1GB DDR2 667MHz Buffalo RAM and eVGA 7300GS video card. I tried taking out the RAM and Video card seperatly, and I still had the problem. I dont even hear a beep out of it. What should I do? Thanks! |

Follow the steps listed here:
http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=132409 And be sure the processor and heatsinkfan are installed correctly and thermal pad or heat paste applied.

Video Card Not Posting
Hello! I am using a MSI P965 NEO Motherboard with an EVGA 7300 GS PCI-E video card. I can get the computer to turn on, but I get no picture. I hear no beeps. Whats wrong? Sadly, the board doesnt have onboard to test. Thanks!

Merged your threads to maintain continuity. Do you have another PC to try the video card in? Or another video card to try in the PC?

I have the same problem. I have the same MoBo but a different video card. Everything turns on as far as I can tell all the fans start up including the heatsink and the fan on the video card, but I get no picture. I need to know what to do
