Im Buying a Dell!

Im buying a Dell! No I have not gone over to the darkside!
Little sister was able to get a 25% Off coupon through the school.
We are going to split the price of it for my mothers birthday.

$771.75 for a E520 with E6300 CPU, 7300LE Video, 1024 RAM, 250 GB HD, 16x DVD Burner, 17" LCD.

Should do my mother for a while. Thanks to everyone (Especially glc!) who made recommendations for updating my old box for her.

Well.I think that's going to be pretty hard to beat. BUT! Make sure you check all your cards and wires. make sure everything is seated propperly. My brother XPS he got had all the wires for the Opticals dangling. His video card wasn't seated right. and the 24Pin to his mobo was half off. I don't know how DELL could have tested the rig. But I ended up on the phone and he got a Big refund to his CC because of all the hassle.

G/L with it.

Sounds like a shipping issue not an installation issue - I work from home and have actaully watched shipping company drivers toss boxes at front doors of homes.
