Video Card problems

Alright i got my computer running and all after having a problem a year after my build. i had this ATI error report that it asked if i wanted to send. I clicked dont send because last time it messed up my computer. Then it said something about VPU and restarting my comp due to hardware change and something with drivers. I know its vague but i dont remember it. My computer is acting a little laggy. What can i do?

Do you notice any corruptions or artifacts on the screen? Have you tried uninstalling the old drivers and updating with new ones?

And yes, specs please..
