review plz

if i get the money thisll be my first buils so can u guys chek to make sure evrything is compatable. 2 questions tho- does the barebone cum with a battery and where can i get the hard drive this thing needs? they are listed in order- barebone, CPU, RAM, Wifi card, CD/DVD drive.

Your wasting your money by building barebones. And warranty.

I would look into a low end lenovo or dell.

whats your price range? what do you plan on doing with your laptop?

id say canc it all and get an HP but one without vista

a brand name laptop with that stuff is outa my price range. i custom did the dell and 2 gigs of ram was 250. with that i can get 2 for like 140-150. and i wasnt planning on running windows on it anyway, i was gona do ubuntu. thx for the concern but i would just rather build the thing because i can get alot better for alot less. and besides the 1 yr. thru dell are like 150 and i cant pay fer dat, so i'd end up with the stock warrenty anyway. and if i did read rite the barebone does have sum kina cheep-o warrenty but i didnt look at it very carefully.

Go to www.dell.com/outlet and check the Inspiron inventory. They start at $499 right now.
