save to power on

i have just installed the psu into the computer with nothin else in there atm

can i connect the psu to the comp led and fan to test it out or would that damage the system?

that didnt help at all
i want to no whetther or not my psu will be damaged if i just plug it into my fans

if you just want to plug in one of the 4 pin molex plugs into your fan and turn on the psu to see the fan spins, then sure, i dont see how this could hurt the psu.

Id have to agree, especially since you might want to test your mobo outside the case first.

Have patience. There's no point playing with a PSU with nothing to connect it to.

Do you want a successful build or do you just want to play? You need to take this a lot more seriously. If you were an experienced builder we would not even be having this conversation.
