need advise on changing over components
I will be taking parts from my old computer and building a new PC. OLD SYSTEM- I have two hard drives , one with Windows ME upgraded to XP Home. Pent 4 LGA775 3.2Ghz Prescott, Video card, wireless adapter card, sound card and ramm. cd/rom , cd/rw. NEW- Intel motherboard ATX [ compatible with my CPU]. Coolermaster ATX case with 430 watt Power supply.. Assuming everything is functional, what do I need to do to get the New PC up and running? [Such as Bios settings] , ETC.

Typically default setting should do...as it should auto detect settings. Usually the only things I'll do is disable things like onboard sound if I'm using a seperate sound card and remove any uneccessary drives from the boot order (like the floppy drive if there isn't one).
If you're using a pre-existing Windows install you may have to do a repair install. http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=151522

Since this version of XP was the upgrade version [from ME] , will I be able to run a repair, following the intructions given for repairing XP from a normal installation disk?
