quick question about psu

i am currently looking at http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16817189003 psu and noticed it said x2 sata. so does this mean if i had 4 sata parts i would only be able to give power to 2 of them, correct? thank you

Yes, but your motherboard will probably come with adapters that will convert a normal molex into one for sata.

Doesn't seem like your board comes with them. Thats ok. Most of my Asus boards did.

After you fill up your 2 Sata's, you can convert the normal 4-pin molex's to the SATA using that adapter until your run out of molex's.

Your powersupply has 6 peripheral/molex's so you could technically have up to 6 additional SATA plugs.
