new build

this will be my second time building. how does this look for parts?

LITE-ON 18X DVD±R DVD Burner With 12X DVD-RAM Write Black IDE Model LH-18A1P-185 - OEM - $29.99

and already have a SATA hard drive i'll be using from my other comp.

any suggestions before i buy parts are appreciated. this all look ok?
also i don't want to spend more than this, but if i could cut back somewhere i might.

oh right, power supply is antenc truepower trio 430 watt , forgot to include that

Solid list. You may want to bump up that power supply to something in the 450-500w range just for a bit of headroom. 430 is cutting it close.

Your LiteOn burner doesn't come with software. You need some, go with a Retail instead of OEM drive.

thanks for the suggestions. i just bought the power supply the other day (thought that may have been the problem w/ my other comp but it wasn't) , so hopefully 430 will be fine.

hmm, i should still have software from my other lite-on dvd drive too soi think i should be ok with OEM. good point though i'll double check.!

The software might only work with the model Lite-On it shipped with. This is common with OEM software, especially when the retail price of the same software is more than the price of the drive.
