New Build please review and offer advice

I have done 3 builds with this tech forums and they all utilized Intel processors and boards. My son in law works at intel and he suggested the E6700. My other boards had audio and video on board and the power supply came with the case. We would prefer a neutral case but can live with a black one. I am a newbee with video boards and power supplies as well as Sata drives. Can you look over this wish list and give me some idea if these fit well together or alternative. I will be using Vista Premium.

Here are my suggestions.

If you don't need any gaming, go with a motherboard that has onboard video. The Asus P5B series are great choices.

If you do want a little gaming, go with the 7600GT, they can be found under $100, a great deal.

DDR2-800 is overkill unless you want to overclock. Otherwise, DDR2-667 is fine.

Go with a hard drive with a 16mb cache. We recommend Seagate 7200.10 drives.

Go with a Retail LiteOn drive, they come with burning software.

You may want to wait another month to build. Intel chips are all going to drop in price significantly. Your son in law should have mentioned this.

You may also want to wait on Vista, it still has bugs to work out.

The P5B has on-board video?

The P5B-VM does.

What will you be using this computer for? Will it be used mostly for gaming or more for productivity type software? Do you really need VISTA Premium?
