Do you have the computer out of the case as per Yukon Master's link? That's the only way to start troubleshooting a no-start.

If you got things to partaily to start by loosening some screws on the motherboard, then probably still have the motherboard installed incorrectly.
You need to do the out of case build with minimum components. And double check that you have ALL the required power connections to the motherboard and video card.

Everything starts up though. Thats the thing. All fans are on (side intake, front intake, Heatsink, exhaust, and GPU fan). I just dont get any signal to the monitor. I checked the CPU and nothing is bent

Please please please don't argue! We're trying to help you out.

The fact that fans are running means one thing: the fans work and are connected properly. That's all. Fans are controlled by a different power circuit than most other devices, and if the motherboard is shorting out on something in the case, the fans don't care. The CPU and Vid card will turn themselves off. So please, get that board out of the case, and we can start troubleshooting.

Aha. Yeah, the fans get a bunch of people. It's just that sometimes you run into someone who will refuse to take the motherboard out of the case :-) Let us know how it goes.

A single beep usually mean that the system has past POST. Check your motherboard manual for BIOS beep codes to see if your BIOS has both a long and short beep code. If it does, then one means it passes POST and the other is an error. One thing to try is to clear the CMOS/RTC ram. That should be in the manual also.

Ok the manual doesnt have any BIOS beep codes in it. I have an EVGA 680i just so you guys know.

But yeah, i am a little lost on the CMOS resetting. It says to turn off the AC power. So does that just mean to make sure nothing is running or to turn off the power supple all together?

alright i tried clearing CMOS and no difference. There is a reset button on the board, what does that do? Or possibly i didnt reset it, is there any other way to fix it?

Oh and i just noticed something new, on the video card, there are a couple of (not sure what to call them) metal pieces that go into the PCIeX16 slot that were broken off at the ends. Could this be a problem? Im guessing probably?
