No Video display
Hi, Currently I have been having a problem which seems to be quite common with others here. My computer has been put together and when I hook up the monitor to my graphics card, it displays nothing; basically it stays in stand-by mode. I have tried booting the computer outside of the case using only the processor and MOBO connected to the PSU. I get no beeps telling me anything and the POST LEDs on my MOBO display "- -" When I have connected my graphics card nothing happens still. I know that this build worked for a friend since he recommended this for me. Clearing the CMOS did nothing as well. The Fans on the CPU spin as well as the chipset fans, but I know those are on a different circuit. So far, browsing these similar problems with no video or POSTing haven't helped.
My specs are: OCZ GameXtreme 700W PSU Foxconn C51XEM2AA-8EKRS2H AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ Antec 900 Case 1Gx2|CORSAIR TWIN2X2048-6400 DDR2 800 EVGA 8800GTS 640 MB video card |

Are you plugging in all necessary power connections on the motherboard? Does the video card have power connector on it and do you have the necessary power cord plugged into it?

Your problem is EXACTLY the same as mine. Nothing seems to help. Im having a friend come over tomorrow to help me out maybe so if we figure it out, ill let you know
