my mate built a computer about one year ago and its been working fine since then, he has done no upgrades and what not to it, just used it like normal, he used it for a whole year-Then one day he powered it up, it powered up for afew seconds then it just died, its been doing this ever since! we both tried to have a look at it but we cant find anything wrong with it!
can someone suggest some common causes for such a symptom? |

If nothing powers on or fans spin for a few seconds then something is going bad. First suspect is PSU then mobo/video card/drives ram/CPU.
