Did some searching with no answers. CPU fan is huge, does it need additional support?

Here is a picture for reference.

Seems like something this big when installed into the case, will put a lot of stress on the board. I have not read about any problems with CPU fans, so I do not anticipate any issues, but this is my first build. I have been to a LAN party before, but it seems if this rode in the car with me, it has a chance of cracking the board over rough bumps.

The fan is a Thermaltake:

Just looking to have my fears dismissed.

I would transport it on its side with the fan facing up. To be doubly safe, I'd open the side of the case and use some bubble wrap to cushion everything.
