built a new comp but one problem

hi there...
i finished building my computer today and everything is connected and whenever i turn the computer on everything works all the lights come on and the fan works and the lights on the motherboard come on but the moniter shows nothing just a blank screen and its connected to the graphic card
could anyone help me....

heres the spec anyway..
thermaltake case with LCS
8800 gts 640mb graphic card
sata 500gb hd
thermaltake 750w psu
intel e6600 processer
nvidia 680 sli motherboard
coairsar ddr2 2gb ram 800mhz

Couple of things to check: make sure the 24 pin ATX and the 8 pin connectors are firmly plugged into the mobo. Same goes for the extra power connectors for the video card. Could also try resetting the BIOS to default or clear the CMOS(instructions should be in the mobo manual).

You didn't list the actual make and model of the 680i board. As you may have heard there has been some problems in the past with the 680i chipset. Some people have had good luck with 680i boards and others couldn't get one to work no matter what.

For tech support, you need to talk to the maker of the motherboard. Nvidia only makes the chipsets for the mobo.

and whenever i start the computer nothing beeps and when i remove the ram the mobo beeps like mad so i think the mobo is fine

Nvidia makes the chipset for the motherboard. Some other company makes the motherboard itself. Examples would be eVGA, Asus, MSI, Abit, Intel, etc. Do you have a link to the actual board you purchased?
