Newegg and OEM Operating Systems

Hello, I'm thinking of getting Windows XP home as an OEM from newegg, and it says I have to provide proof (like receipts) of buying a motherboard, ram, hard drive, etc.

I was just wondering how I can provide this so I get the os shipped with the rest of my parts for my build....what I'm saying is, I don't want to have all my parts shipped to me and have to wait for newegg to send me the OS because they're looking to confirm I'm buying other parts.

Hope my question doesn't sound too confusing...thanks!

If you buy your other hardware from Newegg, you will be set.

So they will automatically just see it in my basket and know I'm buying all that?
Have you done this before?

The hardware thing is just part of the Microsoft agreement for OEM copies of Windows. Newegg would sell you the copy without hassle if they could. As doctorgonzo said, just add some kind of hardware to your order and they will ship you the Windows CD you ordered with no fuss. I usually just go ahead and toss it in with my motherboard or processor order.
