new mother board questions?
Im planning on getting a core 2 duo eventually, but untill i do can some one suggest a MB that supports bot my current P4 3.0g presscot and the core 2 duo? That way when i buy one all i have to do is switch out the cpu..
 Im using it mainly for gameing but only CoH and CoV so nothing real hardcore is needed

Is your P4 3.0 Prescott a LGA775 or a Socket 478 processor?

Exactly which P4 Prescott processor is that? You might be able to use the ASUS P5B motherboard. ASUS CPU Support Page

The ASUS P5B will work with your current processor and with the newer C2D processors. It's a good motherboard that many members on this forum use for their own computers.
