Suggestions for Small Business Build

Hello,

I've been lurking around the site trying to gather some suggestions for a small business PC build. I'm having a difficult time finding a component list which matches my needs.

I'm looking to build as cheap as possible. The system will run basic business programs such as Quickbooks, the Microsoft Office suite, and service-tracking software. The only more unique requirement is that the video card has to support dual monitors.

So I guess the main points are:

- Lowest possible cost
- Does not need to be particularly powerful
- Video card with dual monitor support

If anyone could provide me with a component list that would fit these criteria or point me in the right direction of one, that would be extremely helpful.

Thanks.

If you want a cheap but reliable system. I would seriously take a look at the DELL lineup.

If you buy from the DELL outlet. You can get a good system for 200 to 300 bucks sometimes.

They make good office computers that require light to medium usage.

Here is a link to the DELL outlet page:

List of Dimensions and XPS systems:

List of the nice small Optiplex lineup:

***You can sort it by price and there are some nice builds for about 300 dollars. You can also easily pop in a video card for dual display support and your good to go.

I agree. For what you want it's best to see what DELL has to offer.

Also, a pre-made unit, like a Dell, would most likely make your accountant happier.
