Question Will these parts work for a build?

Hello, I'm new to this forum and I'm considering building a computer instead of buying one. This is the first time I've ever done it, so I'm not quite sure if everything in here works together. I design graphics and websites, but I also play games. The main program collection I'm going to run is Adobe CS3 Master Collection, and I want the computer to run a game with the graphical capabilities of Crysis. So, I want something that can handle these both pretty well. Here are the parts I've picked out.

Video Card = BFG Tech GeForce 8800GTX 768MB 384-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP
Optical Drive = LITE-ON Black DVD-RW Burned 2MB Cache Lightscribe
Case = NZXT Apollo Black
Flash Drive = NewEgg 4GB USB2.0 READYBOOST
Hard Drive = SAMSUNG 500GB 7200RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s
Mouse = Logitech VX Revolution
Keyboard = Logitech Black 104 Normal Keys USB Standard Deluxe
1st Display = Acer 5MS DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor
2nd Display = Acer 5ms DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor
Motherboard = ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe Socket AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 SLI MCP ATX AMD
Power Supply = Rosewill RP550-2 ATX 2.01 550W Power Supply 115/230 V CSA, CB, TUV, FCC, UL
Processor = AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ Windors 3.0GHZ 2x1MB L2 Cache Socket AM2
Sound Card = Creative 7.1 Channels 24-bit 192KHz PCI Interface Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Professional
Speakers = Logitech X-230 32 Watts 2.1 Black
RAM Memory 1 = JetRam 2GB (2x1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel
RAM Memory 2 = JetRam 2GB (2x1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel
Hard Drive Cooler = VIGOR HCC-S1BK Aluminum 5.25" Interior Hard Disk Radiator
Processor Cooler = Dynatron A48G 70mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler
Operating System = Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate
1st Cable = AMC 10ft. DVI Dual Link Digital Cabel Model DVI-DVI-10-OEM
2nd Cable = AMC 10ft. DVI Dual Link Digital Cabel Model DVI-DVI-10-OEM

Could someone please tell me how to make sure that all these parts are compatible. Or check them out and let me know. Along with knowing if they work, is this a good deal for the price? The price is below.

Computer Cost = $2,489.07

If you type in the names of the parts I listed in the NewEgg search bar, they should come up. Thanks.

You need to swap the low quality Rosewill PSU for an Antec or Cosair.

As for your HDD choice... I would go with WD Raptor as my primary (running the OS and programs) and a large WD or Seagate as a secondary for storage purposes.

As for memory... go with the highly recommended Corsair XMS2 lineup of memory. You will want to go with DDR2-800 also.

As for the optical drive... make sure you get a SATA drive. Lite-On as you have listed is a good choice.

Also if the CPU you have listed is retailed boxed... it will come with the CPU heatsink & fan which is more than adequate if you don't plan on overclocking... and using it will also allow you to keep the warranty on the CPU.

A lot of people also will suggest that you go with Windows XP for now and upgrade to Vista later when they work out most of the bugs.

Wow, thanks for your help! Will this go over my budget of around $2,700? Also, the reason I'm getting Vista instead of XP is because Adobe recommends it for their products, and their products are the ones that I use. Well, thanks again!

To save some money could down grade the video card to a 8600GTS and save several hundred.
The same with the mother board, go with a non-Sli board.
