updated new build list

Hello all.

i bin tweaking about with the things i want in my pc and have came up with this.

http://img205.imageshack.us/my.php?i...tlist20ac7.jpg

just a few thing i would like to know if anyone can help.

1) does the cpu have the heatsink and fan already attached? useing the Thermal Compound.

2) is it worth me putting a better cpu fan/heatsink even if i am not going to overclock the cpu?

3) the case i am getting can have up to 10 (12 cm Fans) will the psu be ok to run them all and the rest of the system ok?

if you think any thing don't look right or is no good plz let know thank you.

(this pc will be mostly used for gaming)

1.) Retailed boxed CPUs have the heatsink and fan included with thermal compound already. All you have to do is install the CPU onto the motherboard and them secure the heatsink and fan on top of it.

2.) No, I would recommend the one included with the retail package since it is more than adequate and will NOT void the warranty on the processor.

3.) Yes the PSU should be strong enough but you do not need 10 case fans. Normally 2 case fans is enough. The one in front of the case should be intake and the one in back should be exhaust.

I'd get a SATA DVD Burner - the IDE controller on the P5B series isn't all that great. Overclockers have an NEC model, but it doesn't come with Nero

I know the case is a personal preference thing, but that's a heck of a lot of money to spend on one. What about the Antec 900 gaming case? Great for space and cooling, and a third of the price!
