Book / Video

Just wondering if the book and video that you can buy on this site are worth it? Is it up to date with modern components like core 2 and ddr2 or is it outdated?

I honestly can't speak for the PC Mech guide specifically, as I haven't used it, but as far as up-to-date, you'd do better to pick parts based on live recommendations on the forums.

For how to put the parts together, the procedure doesn't go out of date really, so the book/video would be helpful.

It's a pretty straight forward process. I can't imagaine what the book tells you that you don't already know/can't fine out on google.

thanks

Well, I'll just give it a shot and if I need the book for help, I'll download the pdf. I've already ordered the parts so I'll start it sometime next week I hope.
