Autocad. Memory or Processor?

I need to assemble a computer for someone who uses Autocad. What does Autocad need more, memory or processing power?

It needs a lot of both.
You'd be building a graphics work station so start thinking about duo core cpus and at least 2 Gb of memory.
If this is for 2D work (blue prints) you don't need one of the pricey 3D video cards and you might want to put the money you save into even more ram.

I agree with pam123... top priority would be memory... then processing power... then a decent video card.

I use an AMD 4200+ with 2 GB of RAM and an ATI FireGL V5000 and it runs Land Desktop 2007 beautifully....these parts are cheap nowadays since the Core 2 Duo release. The ATI FireGL is a great card but I work in mostly 2D so it's overkill for me...a lesser video card would've been fine for me.
