New build for work

I’m looking to build a system for my boss at work , This thing is just going to sit at a front desk at a building. What mobo do you guys recommend I start with , Looking to spend about $250 on the hole thing. I was thinking socket A like a 1.8Gh
Any input would be appreciated!!!!!!

You cannot build an entire PC for only $250 with any quality. The bare minimum is around $500, and that is tougher when you need Windows.

If your boss is on a tight budget, look at Dells or even refurbs: www.dell.com/outlet

Well I have a copy of windows, New of curse. But I guess I could talk him to about $300 $400 what you think…..

Agreed. Dell refurbs are the way to go with the budget you have to work with.

Agreed, and it is even tight to try it at $500. Don't forget that it is your reputation on the line here and building a cheap box is, especially for your boss, not a good idea. I would definitely try to sway him towards a Dell as Alaron mentions above.

edit: dang... got to learn to type faster...
