Uh oh wrong plug
Alright. I figured out after a long time to plying with the motherboard that im an idiot
I put the wrong plug into the pwr2 8pin slot.. and my motherboard wudnt power up again after that.. Do u think it ruined the processor? |

Only way to know is to try hooking it back up correctly this time and see if it works.
Did you have the 4-pin connector from the 24-pin(20+4 pin) main power supply connector hooked up to the 8-pin instead of the 4-pin ATX12V connector? EDIT: Here is the old post you already started... Something happened while building Last edited by minsonngo; 05-29-2007 at 09:02 PM. |

im gonna rma the motherboard atleast.
but my case has a temperature display with a 2 pin cord. i dunt know where it goes on the motherboard... the evga nvidia nforce 680i lt sli |

Hmmm, I have a 680i lt board and I can't find any type of temp outputs for your gague... so good luck with that =]
