I'll give you some quick answers.
You setup SLI or Crossfire with two cards and the correct motherboard. The board must have two PCI-Express slots and support SLI or Crossfire. When you buy such as motherboard, it will come with a little bridge to connect the two cards. Setup is fairly simple. That all being said, we generally discourage dual video cards because the benefit is not worth the cost. You won't see any difference unless you are gaming on gigantic displays with high resolution. It is much more economical to get one powerful card, such as the Geforce 8800 series and use it. It will still be plenty of power. If you are buying a CPU, make sure to buy one Retail. That means it comes with a heatsink and fan to cool it. That's all you need, as well as a case fan or two. Heatsinks snap down onto the motherboard. We have a guide on how to do that with Intel chips here: http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=176924 Here is a link to our Overclocking threads: http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=114889 Hope that helps.
