Problems with old new build

I but this configuration together after I bought some parts to test this board I found laying around the garage.. The problem I have is when you power up it works. but if you close the door in front of the case it will shut down.. I'm woundering if the ps switch on the board is loose and any slight touch of the case will cause this.. If you tab the top of the case it will do the same thing.. I just sold it, but will give the buyer a chance to back off If I can't find a solution.. Also the floopy cable I have won't fit this board as well..It is one of those cables that have on pin blocked, the floopy connection of the board has no missing pins to fit this cable..

Yeah, I would have to assume it has to do with something being lose. Maybe a wire. Have you tried closing the front very carefully/slowly?

And you can find the cable your looking for here:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16812119060 (24") (Cheaper, but might be the same quality...but then again im not sure this computer needs quality)
or
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16812200100 (24") (More expensive)
or
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16812200097 (18") (Chaper 18" is sold out)

If I fiddle with the connection sometimes it will power back up sometimes it won't So hopefully it is not something serious.. All the parts are new and was happy when it finally sold, but not so happy now..

Looks like a good idea. If the buyer decides he wants to back out of the sale, then that Is probably what I will do.. I just got it to fire up again. This time I slamed the door shut, and slaped the side of the case and it didn't shut down.. So hope fully it is just a loose connection...
