Post Gaming PC - Ares

I want to start on a new gaming PC that I'm calling Project Ares. Here's what I've got so far.

Case: CrazyPC PC-V1000B Plus Clear View Case Mod $286.94
PSU: FSP Group (Fortron Source) FX Series FX760-E ATX $189.99
Mobo: ASUS Striker Extreme LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX or ASUS P5N32-E SLI LGA 775 $329.99 or $229.99
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz $223.90
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 $66.99
RAM: CORSAIR XMS2 DOMINATOR 2GB $179.00
Pri. Optical: Sony Combo Burner $75.99
Sec. Optical: Lite-On CD-RW Burner/DVD Reader $23.99
Sound Card: Have an Audigy 2 ZS for it
Video Card: EVGA 768-P2-N831-AR GeForce 8800GTX or EVGA 640-P2-N821-AR GeForce 8800GTS $559.99 or $379.99
FDD: Want a card reader... still looking.
Keyboard: Already have a Logitech G15 for it.
Mouse: Have a Logitech G5 for it.
Lan: Onboard
Monitor: Will Upgrade Later
Speakers: Headphones for now
OS: Getting Windows Vista Ultimate for it later $358.99
Extras:
Full Price: $2135.74-$2415.74
Full price does not include rebates, sales, taxes, and shipping

Is it looking ok? Any suggestions/comments are welcome.

This build will be the most expensive I've ever had, but I want it to last a long time (through college) and run everything smoothly.

EDIT- 5/6/06 Updated a few things, including pricing, some links, and extra items.

1) don't get an Ultra, get an FSP.

Other than that it looks great. Very glad to see you getting vista ultimate, it very nice. You should get 64-bit while your at it. Or just get the retail version, and you can try both.

Yea, I will be getting the retail version of Ultimate. A couple months ago I was planning on staying with XP when I got a new computer, but the new games look cool, and I got to test Vista at my friends house (it was awesome XD ).

Is this PSU good? FSP Group (Fortron Source) FX Series FX760-E ATX

yes it is. But I don't think you need that much juice unless you go SLI.

And yes vista is awesome!

Take a look at the P5N32-E SLI. The striker really only adds some bling and whistles.

I would also pick the Silverstone ST75ZF instead.

In the future I want to go SLI, but right now I don't see a need for it with that GPU.

EDIT- Ok, I've looked at the PSU's and Mobo's.
1) What's better about the Silverstone PSU, because I don't see much (but I also don't know to much about PSU's).
2) The P5N32-E SLI looks great I'll go with that for now, but I may still buy the striker in the end (I like the little extra things).
