O.K. So I get it all together and it all starts up nice nice!! But when I try loading windows, You know when its done loading all the very first drivers for install , I get a blue screen that says something about windows cant go on to keep it from damaging and something about my bios memory and updates. I think my bios may need an update but would that stop windows from running like that. Im installing WIN XP PRO. And how would I go about updating bios if thats the issue!!

Your message is pretty vague. What is the brand and model number of your motherboard? If you could list the exact error message that you're getting, it would help a lot.
You might try this. Remove the battery on the motherboard, leave it out for 15 or 20 minutes, put it back in, and try to install Windows again. |
