By chance, do you know the brand names/models of those PSUs? Also, di you make sure you hooked up the power supply to the motherboard with the *I believe* 6 pin connector? Posting the rest of your computer specs wouldn't hurt either

There should be some little brass do-dads that screw into the case. The motherboard screws into those things. It keeps the motherboard from contacting the case where it shouldn't. Some cases have raised areas that serve the same function. Don't install the standoffs there or the motherboard will sit too high. Follow the advice in the thread Jimmy linked to, if you haven't already. This eliminates any problems with standoffs.

I just did that, and it works now, I guess it was to tight to the case or something.

But now I am facing another problem, the motherboard is not recognizind the hard drive.

Thanks

What type of hard drive? is it SATA or IDE? did you connect the HD to the PSU AND motherboard via one of those cords?

Is the IDE hard drive jumpered properly for the type of IDE cable you're using?

If it's a 40 wire IDE cable then set the jumper to master.

If it's a 80 wire IDE cable then set the jumper to CS (cable select).
