Overhauling desktop, do these components work?

The PC that I've built around 7-8 months ago suddenly started having problems when I tried to power it up. After getting the RMA for the motherboard from Newegg a week ago, the new motherboard's green LED light would turn on but neither the fans nor the hardware would work. Since I really can't pinpoint the problem I've decided to overhaul everything except my video card, ram, hard drive, and DVD drive, all of which I've pretty sure are working. This is just to ensure I fix whatever is wrong. Please let me know if the new configuration would work or if there are any suggestions for better builds:

Old Configuration:

1) ANTEC Sonata II Chassis (w/ built in 450w power supply)
2) Asus P5W DH Deluxe Motherboard
3) E6600 Core 2 Duo CPU
4) EVGA 7900GT Video Card
5) Corsair XMS2 2X1GB PC6400 DDR2 800 Ram
6) Western Digital 250 GB Hard Drive
7) NEC 16X DVD Burner

New Components:
1) Thermaltake Armor Series VA8000BWS ATX Case
2) Thermaltake WO106RU with ATX 12V 2.2 & EPS 12V version 700W Power supply
3) Asus P5W DH Deluxe Motherboard
4) E6600 Core 2 Duo CPU

So basically I'm buying the same motherboard and CPU again and upgrading the Case and power supply. Thanks for any suggestions.

Before you buy anything try this and let us know what happens. You must remove the motherboard from the case when doing this.
