Your list is solid, but I would suggest bumping a few things down. Just because you have the money doesn't mean you have to spend it all. You can still have a great system.

Instead of the Core 2 Extreme, how about the Core 2 Quad 6600: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115017 Half the price and very little performance difference. In fact, Intel is going to cut the price on it to $266 in July.

I'd choose an Asus P5B motherboard instead of MSI. There is no reason to go with an SLI board and just one video card. It makes more sense to upgrade one card then buy another down the road.

Swap out your LiteOn for a Retail unit instead of OEM. Then it will come with Nero.

well im saving just for this...i have other money, haha dont worry. But i want that mobo because it will be able to hold penryn and be very upgradable. Also have you heard about price drops on the quad extreme? that would be nice.

If you want a proper penryn upgradeable motherboard, go for the Asus P5K.

Not in the near future no. http://www.hkepc.com/bbs/itnews.php?...me=0&endtime=0

Theres really no point to a extreme edition unless you plan to make use of that divider, which very few do.Stick to the standard c2d and c2q.

And get a Corsair HX 520W, it will handle one card just fine.

Dont get that cpu cooler, not only do you not need it unless overclocking heavily, it sucks.

Your case will already come with plenty of fans. The rosewill's would be a step down in quality.

Well yeah, a few watts hotter, if you think thats hot, the nvidia chipsets are even more so. No biggie.

No I suggest you stick to the Q6600 or one of the dual cores. Spending twice the money on a few mhz more is not worth it. Quad cores are seriously over hyped.
