Stuck at Post
So I am building my 4th PC and am running into a problem I haven't run into before and can't seem to fix it.
First my parts: EVGA nForce 680i SLI Mobo Intel Core 2 Duo 6600 2X1 GB Corsair DDR2 800 Mhz RAM 2X 512 MB Geil DDR2 PC2-4300 ATI Radeon X700 Pro 256MB GDDR3 Video Card Thermaltake Toughpower 700 W PSU 2X DVD/RW Drives set on one ribbon on the single IDE port 1X Maxtor HDD set on a SATA port Ok, so I set everything up and I boot the computer and the post screen shows up with my memory amount, the CPU speed, all that stuff along with the "Press DEL to enter setup, ESC to enter boot menu" Problem comes in that it is stuck on this screen, I press DEL and Esc and nothing changes. So I thought it might be that my keyboard is running through a USB port. So I went a bought a keyboard that is PS2 only. Plugged it in and rebooted and same thing. It just sits on this screen and wont go any farther. Any questions or help?? |
