Exclamation Help With Power SUpply on Newly Built PC

Hey everyone this is my first post on this site and i am sorry if this is in the wrong spot. I have built myself a moderatly nice computer for multimedia use and everything couldn't have been better. I had a small amount of things in my case that would take up power but over time i just kept adding to the cooling. I was running an old geforce 4000 agp graphics card that didnt require any direct power from the power supply and ran it fine. I then started getting into gameing and thought to upgrade my card (being i have windows vista it was the only thing that was getting my sytem a low rateing) i purchased a geforce 6800 gs oc overclocked card and did the install. At first it was fine but now i notice with everything plugged in the card will lagg alot in simple games that required not alot of graphics to run. After a while i recently noticed that my pc will completly stall up and my hdd will spin up shut off and the re spin itself. I believe that this is the work of my power supply and want to upgrade. Correct me if im wrong or if you have any other ideas but thats my thought. Now i have a generic 400 watt psu witch came with my barebone kit and now i want one to power my current setup (5 fans (3 case & the others add ons not including my cpu fan (its big)) a Pentium D, Sound Blaster Audigy Card, Usb pci card, my geforce 6800 gs oc overclocked, one dvd cdrw combo drive, neon lights, and my 500gb wd hdd. I thought 600 watts would be sufficient i am all about neatness and want a ultra xconnect type but i dont know much about them as this is all new to me. ANy suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The only problem is i am on a very strict budget of about 70$ no more. Thank you very much guys this means alot to me. Sorry for the long post i just wanted to get all the info out in one post thanks again...

What are the complete system specs for this computer? List the parts by brand and model.

How much RAM do you have installed?

A good quality 500 watt power supply will handle your specs easily. This is a good one for under $70.

From the description of the problem it might be related to a poor quality power supply, but it also sounds like the video card is either overheating or may be defective...or the motherboard is going bad. Hard to pin point at this time. Replacing the current power supply with a good quality one is the first step.
