Experienced Noob, so to say...

Hi Everyone,

Ive been on this forum alot but couldnt figure out my login stuff after a year so I made a new account.
I built and fixed computers for many years and worked on computers almost everyday. But I havent worked with building and fixing them for a year. So Im kinda of lost. Are builing and upgrading computers any different with all this new technology such as dual core processors and such. I really just want to get back into the flow of things but Im finding it a little hard to catch up on the past year.

Can anyone help me or offer advice?

Thanks a bunch!

Yeah, assembling computer is basically the same. All you have to do is familiarize yourself with some of the new stuff and you should be fine.

Take a look at some of the recent builds in the BYOPC forum for some lists of 'modern' parts. Intel Core2Duo is king right now, and as always we're recommending ASUS motherboards :-)
