Thumbs up Up and running!

I said I would report back on my first build (for my daughter), here I am
First a big thanks again for all the help getting started and answering my questions.
Very generous people here with their time and advice. It is much appreciated by me
and I'm sure many others
The build went pretty smooth except for a bad memory stick which needed to be replaced.
Had a little trouble with the BIOS and the initial settings but happened to stumble upon a settings guide for this particular MB by Bill Parrish over at [H]ard Forum which is excellent and highly recommended (though it is mainly an overclockers type guide). After that everything is running great. Now the learning curve for Vista begins, with XP ready if Vista proves too frustrating Will be back when I attempt a new build for myself this winter.
Thanks everyone again!

Congrats

I haven't found a huge jump between XP and Vista. The biggest difference I've found is the way Explorer works while navigating your files.

Congrats, doesn't it feel to good to know that you can build one better than what you would pay for prebuilt.. Vista isn't so bad, mines been running smoothly..
