$1000 pc build finished & questions
Finally, I build my first pc and overclocked it to 3.3Ghz by pushing FSB to 1333Mhz. Computer boots andn windows xp runs fine.
When I try to use orthos to load cpu and use coretemp/speedfan to monitor the temperature, I find confusion. 1) Orthos looks like only load one CPU to 100% instead of both. Is it normal for core 2 duo? 2) Coretemp shows temperature 15'C higher than speedfan. Under stress test, speedfan stable at 49c while coretemp at 75C or so. At idle, speedfan at 39C and coretemp at 54C. Is this normal?
