thermaltake power supply

Hi, I couldn't find any other place for this topic so decided to just put it here. I found this 500 watt power supply. What do you guys think? Its a very attractive price since there is a rebate. It also says that this power supply does not have any pci-e connectors. Is that a bad thing? I plan on getting a geforce 7600gt as my pci-e slot. thanks in advance.

Thermaltake power supplies aren't the worst, but they aren't the best either. Depending somewhat on your other components, and whether you want headroom for an upgrade, you could get away with a quality 450w unit, like this one. It has better specs than the Thermaltake despite being lower wattage.

Something like this would be a great next-step-up, though - and would give the aforementioned headroom. Good price after rebate.
