New MOBO for Pentium D/C2D

AS the title suggests, I need a new motherboard. I have a Pentium D820 right now and will probably upgrade to a Core 2 Duo when the slash the prices...the 22 i believe. It's been a while since I've been in the market and am looking for something fairly cheap. under 150. I use the computer for mostly just email and burning movies and cds, however, I occasionally play games like BF2 and World of Warcraft. Any input would be appreciated. I have an intel board now. thanks.

Is your current hard drive(s) IDE or SATA interface? I ask because newer 965 chipset boards only have support for one IDE channel.

I was looking at this ASUS MOBO for approx 140. Versus this MOBO for about 8 dollars cheaper.

Whats the difference? I plan on using an ATI video card, I dont know if that makes a difference or not, I also have a Pentium D820, will either of these work with that CPU? Thanks

nvidia has better performance ull need a geforece fx 5700 or better but if your happy with ur old one mayb u should recycle it
yeah 22nd there is a price drop for the core duo im getting a e6420 or mayb a e6650 or something
also wats ur budget...
i suggest getting the 1st motherboard it has capable to use 1333mhz fsb therefore u can use the newer c2d however if u dont care about them then use p5b's then

The P5K's are newer but more future proof, while the P5B's are older but as stable as it gets.
