You should buy every component at the same time for a new build. Prices / components change too quickly in this market to buy one piece at a time.

On a forum note, if you're planning a new build, please ask all your questions in one thread - I noticed you started three already.

If you're planning to build a new computer, keep all related questions in one thread...that way we can see how you're doing.

First of all, do you plan to build a computer soon?

What is your budget for the computer? Does that price have to include the monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers? What about the operating system?

Do you want to build an AMD or INTEL based computer?

What do you plan to use the computer for mostly? Gaming? Multimedia work? Office work?

We can help you pick out all the pieces of the computer, just answer the above questions first.
